#MondayMotivation: Salt Water

When life

felt like death

I dug a grave

Handful by dirty handful

And built my bed in it.

But now life

feels like light

And I filled in my grave

And was grateful for the dirt and worms.

I planted flowers on top

And some days I still cry

About what could have been

But my flowers thrive

On salt water.
